What type of drivers licence do I need to drive the motorhome?

All you need is a normal Cat B manual drivers licence.

Does the hire cost cover insurance and can we add an additional driver to the policy?

Yes our hire cost is fully inclusive for one driver. We charge £25 admin fee plus £5 per day for an additional driver. No need to tell us up front if you wish to add an additional driver, we take payment and discuss this when you arrive to collect the motorhome. All drivers must bring with them their drivers license, 2 separate proofs of address, dated within the last 3 months that match your driving licence and national insurance number. If you do not have a UK drivers licence you do not need to provide your national insurance number but please bring your passport. 

What age can you be to be to hire a motorhome?

We require you to be between the age of 25-70 years old and to have held your licence for longer than 2 years. If you are between the age of 70-75 we can refer your details to the insurance company.

Do I need to provide my own duvet/ bed sheets and towels?

We can offer a bedding & towel package which will have everything you need for £40 per double set. Please make us aware of this at the time of booking.

What do I need to bring with me?

We believe that we have everything covered and all you will need to bring is your personal belongings!

What time can I pick up the motorhome and what time do I need to return it?

Your motorhome will be ready to collect at 2pm on your day of hire. We require it to be returned by 10am on the day of drop off. Please note there is a £50 per hour charge for any late drop offs. If you are hoping for an early collection please contact our team no sooner than 1 week prior to your collection date and we can try our best.

I have never hired a motorhome before, how does it work?

Please do not worry we will run through a full handover showing you everything you need to know about the workings of the motorhome, and don’t worry if you don’t take it all in, you can also look at our (Link help and support videos) which you will have with you so you are never stuck!

Is there anywhere we can leave our car when we collect the motorhome?

Yes! You can leave your car with us at our locked compound with a fee of £5 per day. This is taken the day you collect the motorhome. Cars are left at the owner’s risk.

Are Motorhomes difficult to drive?

No, Motorhomes are not difficult to operate. They are pretty similar to cars except that they are larger and as they are very heavy, it takes them longer to accelerate or decelerate.

Do you charge a mileage charge when I collect the motorhome?

No, we do not charge any mileage fee! You can use as many miles as you wish. If you look to travel out-with the UK please contact us directly.
